Doctrinal Statement

We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final rule of faith, life, doctrine, and conduct.

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — equal in deity, power, and glory.

We believe Jesus Christ is: Fully God and fully Man, Conceived by the Holy Spirit, Born of the Virgin Mary, Sinless in life, Crucified for our sins, Buried, resurrected bodily on the third day, Ascended to heaven, Exalted at the right hand of the Father, Returning soon in power and glory.

We believe in the Person and work of the Holy Spirit who: Convicts the world of sin, Regenerates and sanctifies believers, Empowers the Church for ministry, Distributes spiritual gifts according to His will, Works actively today in signs, wonders, and miracles. We believe in the gift of tongues, but not as the only initial evidence of the Holy Spirit. The fruit and gifts together testify of the Spirit's indwelling.

We believe salvation is the free gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Not by works, but unto good works. True faith produces obedience, transformation, and holiness.

A. Water Baptism: We believe in water baptism by immersion, in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as a public declaration of faith. B. Baptism in the Holy Spirit: The Spirit empowers believers for service, witness, and holy living.

We believe communion is a sacred memorial of Christ's sacrifice and a proclamation of His return. Only believers should partake reverently.

We believe the Church is the universal Body of Christ, composed of all believers saved by grace through faith, called to worship God, preach the Gospel, make disciples, and advance Kingdom work on earth. The Church exists in: The local body, The global network, The spiritual unity of believers.

We affirm the biblical offices: Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher. Appointed for the equipping of the saints and the edifying of the Church.

We believe every believer and every church is commanded to: Evangelize the world, Baptize disciples, Teach the Word, Transform communities. The Great Commission is not optional. It is the heartbeat of LFCIM and the LFC Church Council.

We believe Jesus Christ will return: Personally, Physically, Visibly, In power and glory. To judge the living and the dead, and to establish His eternal Kingdom.

We believe in the resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous. The righteous inherit eternal life; the wicked face eternal separation.

We believe every believer is called to a life of: Holiness, Obedience, Integrity, Purity, Discipleship, Repentance, Humility, Love.

We affirm biblical marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman. Families must be nurtured, protected, and discipled.

We affirm: Angels as ministering spirits, The reality of Satan and demonic forces, The believer's authority in Christ.

We affirm that life is sacred from conception and must be protected.

We affirm revival, healing, deliverance, prophecy, and spiritual gifts continue as essential ministries for the Church today under proper biblical order.
